Last Weeks of Summer

We had a busy last few weeks of summer!
Our neighborhood had a block party and one of our neighbors was doing face painting. How amazing is her work! The kids both LOVED it!








Our washing machine broke mid cycle and wouldn’t drain, so we had to finish up the wash in the bathtub. Luckily we were able to figure out the problem, and get the part ordered from Amazon. Jon watched a YouTube video and got it fixed. Under $30 and the washing machine is back to working. Yay!



This week, we met my mom and grandmother at her place for lunch. The kids got to swim in the indoor pool before lunch.





We also went with some friends down to the Children’s museum in New Braunfels. They had so much fun!









We finished up the week with Meet the Teacher for Aedan. I can’t believe school starts on Monday! His new teacher seems great and he already has some friends in his class. We are excited about the year to come!
