Gymboree

On Tuesday, Aedan and I went to his first Gymboree class. I was so excited. I have always wanted to be able to take my baby to mommy and me classes, whether it be a Gymboree type class or swimming lessons, etc..I am so blessed to have a job that allows me to have a flexible schedule so that I can do these things with Aedan.

We had a lot of fun at our first class. I wasn’t entirely sure how Aedan would handle it since he is pretty sensitive when it comes to loud noises and new people and places, but he did really well. We got there a little early so he was able to crawl around and explore before our class started. During the first part of the class he was pretty serious. I think he was just taking it all in. We played with the parachute and tunnels and he was a big fan of the balls and rattle toys. Towards the end for class, the instructor brought out this little puppet doll that popped in and out of a cone. I wasn’t sure Aedan was going to like it that much, but he went nuts. He was full on belly laughing at this puppet. It was too cute!

There was one other little guy in the class (and 4 little girls) that was the same age as Aedan. At the end of class, Aedan crawled right over to him and gave him a big smile. They both just kind of looked at each other smiling for awhile. I think it is safe to say we have a friend in the class now. :)

I didn’t take any pictures because I was busy helping Aedan, but I will try to take some next week.

We love Gymboree and have made some of the best friends in our classes! One of the little girls is now Jackson's buddy at preschool too. I am so glad ya'll enjoyed it! :)

BTW, the Gymboree in Allen has all-day free play on Monday and other times throughout the week. Maybe we can take the boys next time you come to town :)
