Yay, I’m back on the band wagon with the Show Us Where You Live tour. I skipped out last week because we don’t have kids yet.
So here is our home office. This furniture is a combination of office furniture that Jon was able to buy when he switched to a work-from-home job and an entertainment center that we bought when we first moved in, but turned out to be too bulky for our small living room.
So the desk and chair are the home office furniture, and the tower next to the desk is from the entertainment center. The other tower is in Jon’s room. We did a room swap a few months ago so now this is “my” room. I can plug my laptop into the bigger screen on the right side of the desk. I generally do most of my blogging and stuff from the living room couch, but I do like to use the big screen for digital scrapbooking and paper writing for school.
I made the 6 wall hangings out of scrapbook paper and styrofoam, you can read about it here.
Here is the corner of my desk. I got the lamp at TJ Maxx on clearance. :) The candle is from Bath and Body Works…I think they are the best candles ever! The pictures are of my sister and I and my mom and I on my wedding day.
Here is the other side of the room. We have a bookshelf full of all my favorite books.
Here is a post about the mistreatments I made for our bedroom. I followed the same process for the study. There wasn’t enough fabric for me to finish off the edges in the office, but the whole project cost me about $3 so it will work until we decide what color we want to paint the room (which is on my do to list this summer). You can kind of see the mistreatments in the first picture.
Thanks for stopping by! Check out more home offices at Kelly's Korner.

Such a nice office. When you hung the bedroom window treatment did you just put the tacks into the wall? Do they go in easy.
